Dungeons? No way. And you're telling me there's dragons in there?

I've been playing in DnD campaigns and the occasional one-shots for a few years, and in 2025 I started DMing my own little campaign for friends! I ended up finding a lot of fun in designing NPCs for the game world and drawing small impressions from the adventures. You'll find that there aren't as many polished illustrations here, since most of these drawings were quick illustrative sketches for our sessions!

The illustrations below are from a time frame of 2025 onwards.

Characters labeled Fridolin and Chloe. The first is a lanky young man with freckles holding a clipboard, the other is a dwarven lady with a hearty laugh.

The innkeeper ChloƩ and her assistant Fridolin, the questgivers in one of our campaigns.

A sturdy woman with a metal face mask, wearing a leather apron, working on something from a forge. Her legs are boar-like and furry.

Darla, the half-boar blacksmith.

Two halflings, a man and a woman, with brown hair and elaborate wizard gowns. Their expressions are lively, clever smiles.

Binaut and Binette, the halfling siblings who are in charge of the magic wand manufactory in town.

A human druid with a big backpack, an orc lady knight and a wizard with white hair and pointy ears.

A group of adventurers: Daphne the druid, Alexia the fighter and Blanche the wizard.

Blanche and Leon in profile. Blanche and Leon in front view.

Small development doodles for Blanche and Leon, a duo of characters. When getting used to drawing characters, I find it useful to compare their faces from different angles.

The wizard boy with the white hair is treading through darkness, holding on to his Light spell. A creature of giant hands and twisted tentacles is looming behind him.

Blanche having a sinister encounter with a dark force in a cave.

A ghostly woman is gripping on to the shoulders of a young man and shouting something. He looks deeply startled and haunted.

A dramatic ghost encounter with the restless spirit of a woman. She ended up finding peace without a fight, but only after my character Jasper made a promise to her.

A kid that looks like an anthropomorphic bunny, dressed in rags and holding a bucket as he kneels on the floor. He gives a shy smile.

In a one-shot we played a group of street kids in a mega city who ran into the machinations of an evil cult. This was my character Flachs, a little bunny boy who found companionship with two other boys.

A bard, playing on his lute from a note sheet, while lounging in a treehouse. A huge wolf is sleeping next to him.

A bard resting with his trusty wolf companion in a treehouse.
